Beats of the family include "Beats Solo HD", a high-definition-Ear Headphone, available in red, black or white. The red version is made specifically for the Irish musician Bono's Product RED charity group. There is also the "Pro" model, an over-the-ear headset DJ's available in black or white. The "Pro" are oriented toward the professional market. The "Beatbox" is a compact enclosure with both an iPod dock and stereo 3.5mm jack. The original "Studio" headset came out in 2008, a headset of type over-the-ear which integrate a high power amplifier and digital noise canceling powered requiring the use of two AAA batteries to operate.
Monster Beats has a partnership with HP to run on desktop and laptop computers with capabilities of upscale audio. They also established a partnership with Chrysler Motors to make the 300 with high end audio capabilities. In August 2011 a controlling interest was taken in the company by HTC mobile phone manufacturer after an investment of $ 300 million.
